Day 1 Chillin in San Salvador

It's June 17 and I'm now in El Salvador! I'm going to be staying in San Salvador, the capital, for two nights before going to Santa de Maria. Day 1 has been pretty relaxed. I got picked up at the airport by my best El Salvadoran buddy Patty. We immediately went to lunch at a great seafood place. We ate some super-fresh oysters and I had what's called a seafood cocktail. After lunch I went to the hotel and chilled out. Hanged out on the patio, took some pictures of their plants and practiced a little Spanish. Last, I had dinner with Patty and her husband. We ate the traditional El Salvadoran dish called pupusas, which is a hand-made corn or rice tortilla with a blend of cheese and beans in the middle. The pupusas were delicious and I downed them with some El Salvadorian beer. I'm super full and ready for bed!
